Terms of Service

1. Service

MatchLogic is a recruitment platform that lists vacancies and ranks candidates. We are not the employer and do not guarantee any placement or hire.

2. Candidates

• Applying is free. You must provide truthful, accurate information and documents.
• Paid CV tools are activated after manual payment confirmation.
• You may delete your profile at any time.

3. Employers and recruiters

• Vacancy Placement: R150 per vacancy, shared with more than 500 000 active jobseekers, for a 30-day listing.
• Candidate Pool Unlock: R1,100 per vacancy, unlocking the Top 15 shortlist for that vacancy only.
• AI MatchLogic Premium bundle: R1,175 per vacancy, covering the vacancy post and the candidate pool unlock in one payment.
• Each payment applies to one vacancy only. Access is activated after manual payment confirmation.
• Candidate information may be used only to recruit for that vacancy, must be kept confidential, and must be handled in line with POPIA and the Employment Equity Act. You may not resell, scrape or market to candidates.

4. Payments and refunds

Prices are in South African Rand. Fees are non-refundable once a vacancy is published or a shortlist is unlocked, except where the law requires otherwise. Contact us within 7 days about any billing error.

5. Acceptable use

No discriminatory, false or unlawful vacancies, no attempts to bypass security or masking, and no misuse of other users' data. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MatchLogic is not liable for hiring decisions, candidate or employer conduct, or indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the affected vacancy.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, MatchScore algorithm, branding and content belong to MatchLogic Recruitment Services (Pty) Ltd. You keep ownership of the content you upload and grant us a licence to process it to deliver the service.
